This is just an example of more lies and propaganda. Obama stated that IF we were to completely scrap the existing health care system and start over from scratch, that he would like to see a single payer system. HOWEVER, he said that this will NEVER happen in America. The nature of the American people, distrust of large government, will prevent a single payer system from ever comming to fruition. Obama said this, this is not a Trojan horse! Can we please stop with the "death squad" lies and paranioia?!

This is really funny. Something like 70% of Americans support single payer. So claiming that it needs a "trojan horse" is like saying that we're trying to feed someone a big bowl of delicious ice cream by disguising it as something less tasty.

You opponents are totally clueless.

No, they are watching fascist media and becoming propagandized.

When they hear the truth, the get POed, and experience dissonance...... and watch more lies on Fox, etc.

That's how the process works.

How can reducing your options down to zero, be seen as a good thing is beyond me.

Today, you have almost 1,300 choices in health care, if you do not like it you can switch policies, switch states, or your employer can bargain for changes to broaden coverage, lower costs etc... In a federally controlled system, you cannot change plans, you are stuck with what government bureaucrats and bean counters feel is good enough for you.... end of line...

The government system:

Column A
Treatments
Surgical procedures
Drugs

Column B
Cutoff Age (Just too old to warrant the taxpayer expense)
Patient's Worth to Society (Not productive enough to warrant the taxpayer expense)

There is one option now, as ALL private plans collude to drive up prices.

Hence, the reason why we have the most expensive system in the world that ranks near the bottom of the industrialized countries in terms of patient outcomes.

Look at all the socialists screaming "Yay!"

So sad. The end of the principles that built the foundation of the country.

"Please government, I'm to stupid and incompetent to take care of myself and provide what I need to be self sustaining, please help me" - The new American way

So pathetic.
