I no longer care what they name in honor of Obama or Sotomayor or when they choose to do it. The overkill of it all was too annoying, so I decided to no longer think about it.
President of the USA, you should be familiar with it. I'll bet you know how to spell Sadam or Hitler, using a copout of "unfamiliarity" the excuses the kids get taught/and away with today. Pitiful, just pitiful.

No, it's not too early to start naming schools after him. Everywhere you turn in Texas, something is named after George Bush. Why not Barack Obama?
Yes and for that we are ashamed. But just know that we the people had no choice on that nor do we have any choices in life. This commy govt chooses for us. The Texas govt decided to name places after that brutal dictator. We the peons do not agree with it.

If it makes you feel better, Conneticut has signs on their borders saying " Conneticut Welcomes You, birth place of George Bush, We apologize"

"Overwhelmingly, the parents and the kids said we want Barack Obama and when you see those kids eyes, their eyes just started glowing, and even the parent's eyes were glowing just for the fact that their kid would one day go to the Barack Obama school," Price said.
Got a real chuckle out of that one.

Looks like a "super" school!

I'm glad you realized your mistake of voting for Barrrrack, but at least now you are out of the denial stage and can move forward with the recovery like so many others.

As for the original question...
I don't think it will be appropriate to name anything after Obama except for a newly discovered disease.

How cynical of you. It obviously looks like these kids have quite an uphill climb (91 percent free or reduced lunch). What better way to make them see that they just MIGHT have a chance to go somewhere in life?
...a`little hope...it won't even increase your taxes...
