The more I listen to Conservative talk radio, the sicker I get. They repeat the same lines almost like religion. I have come to realize that only a very brainwashed and irrational person could believe in these lies, most of them have no idea what they are talking about and are just conditioned over time to repeat the same irrational, stupid lines as if they were gospel. "The Founding Fathers..." like that ignorant woman at the townhall meeting that talked about the "sleeping giant". Bunch of hooey!

I'm actually tired of the hypocritical screamers on this forum......now that I think of it, they do fall under the right of center group.

I don't listen to talk radio. Examples please.

1) Name the lie (Nothing out of context. The burden is on you to tell the whole story)
2) Counter the lie with the actual truth.

Thanks.

I'll start.

Lie: Obama is a Marxist/Socialist/Communist. (You dont need links for that, do you?)

Truth: Obama is a staunch defender of capitalism. This proves it on three key issues very well.

Then why do you listen to it to begin with ?
Any talk show that plays to the extreme right or left "spews garbage" IMHO.

Which just goes to prove my theory. That liberals are masochists. They love being depressed.

One could listen to ONE HOUR if rightwing hatetalk radio and provide numerous examples of deliberate lies.

All the talk of Obama being "racist", all the talk of Sotomayor being "racist", all the talk about "socialism", all the talk about Obama not having a "birth certificate" that makes him an American citizen, all the talk about "death panels", all the talk about ______.......

The list is endless. People who listen to that crap wouldnt believe it if you explained it slowly to them and even gave them a box of crayons to spell out their feelings on each issue through a colorful picture

And taxing the rich will make them outsource work to China. Maybe we should just give the wealthy tax breaks and make the middle class pay for all these new weapons systems and wars that Republicans start all around the world
