You mean the Left's option. Have you seen the polls lately?

ALL say the same thing - no on obamacare, so you can quit pretending that the country is in favor of a government takeover of HC.

I'd like to see the polls that are against healthcare reform in general that can back you up. I've seen several that are against this plan, but this plan is a compromise and a poor one at that.

Most polls say that reform is necessary, no one has denied that.

It is the government run solution that people are against. It is not warranted or necessary.

85% of people are satisified with their HC, what is the justification to completely overhaul the system with a government takeover?

There are many things that can be done to alleviate the problems in the system now, without a government option.

I keep thinking if they just modified medicaid a bit then they could include those "uninsurable" people and charge them. Very easy solution..but no, they want to overhaul the entire thing and not even fix it in the process.

Dude you are almost there. Uninsurable and people who can not afford traditional insurance would have the option to purchase insurance through the fed like medicare B. That is all we are asking for here. You are almost there. Welcome aboard.

I was never against reform. I am against that 1000+ page document that doesn't reform anything. Whittle it down to 10-15 pages that only opens up medicaid/medicare to more people then you have a good start. But then you have to come up with a way to pay for it.

Did you know buried in that 1000+ bill is money to teach people English and help them get their GED ? That is NOT healthcare reform and items like that should not be in that bill.
