But broad generalizations are the main stay of certain people on the left. What tools would they have left to use? It's the best they have in their arsenol.

Hmm... it seems I just had some facts in my arsenol - showing you the hypocritical nature involving the Red State "holier than thou" image that many people try to pass off - but of course, you did not care for that... so in turn, this automatically qualifies me to be a "lefty".
Ah ha... I see the linear/simplistic/black and white pattern here... anyone who disagrees with and/or shows you to be wrong... is a radical leftist, is that it? Seems that you too, are doing a little bit of generalizing yourself, Spunky baby.
Nice try again, though.
Happy Holidaze.

Are you denying you make broad generalizations?
The OPs question is regarding what cities are most conservative. I don't believe it was meant to be an open-field day for more conservative bashing. There are plenty of threads for that already.
I would think anyone could appreciate the benefits and stability of a conservative area. San Francisco, one of our country's gems as far as natural beauty etc. has been blighted and become in some ways an embarrassment.

Arlington texas is over-run with illegal aliens. It's gone down hill.

It is not a question that the southern states have higher divorce rates than northern states. This is attributed to several factors; southerners tend to get married earlier, they tend to get married at lower socio-economic levels, overall level of education when married may play a part, fundamentalists and baptists more heavily located in southern states are not as disapproving and more accepting of divorces generally speaking as Catholics which are more heavily located in northen states.

There isn't much data yet past 2004.
You're grasping at straws here, however, because liberal bastion Massachusettes has ranked "lowest" in divorces for years based on data.
Just face it. There are a lot of factors at play, but it goes to show that "conservative" doesn't necessarily mean "family values."

One of the most conservative cities I know of is Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Very little night-life- practically no real gay scene---hard to find a friendly drinking establishment---women seem mostly "stuck up"---and the fashions are rather drab. Makes Provo, Utah look positively "swinging" by comparison....
