So at the begining of the year there was lots of noise about Mexico facing eminent collapse... What happened? is Mexico still on the brink or getting better? Why did the media suddenly go silent?

All I find on the net are millions of old news clips. Can someone in the know enlighten me?

All I know is the mexican emigrant population quadrupled here in Salt Lake City this year. I do court tranlations so I get to be in the middle of that one.
