They just look crazy...just don't seem to be on the same page with mainstream america anymore...bunch of old white guys and radio political disc jockeyes are setting the tone...

Their bleeding heart hypocrisy, evidenced by their willingness to have the US Government spend untold gallons of blood and $$$ to allegedly improve the lives of people in other countries while the mere mention of the government doing anything for Americans sends them into paroxysms of terror characterized by screams of SOCIALISM! and NEVER!
Their problem is they are not expressing their plans and ideas well enough, or at least the media is not bothering to give them the air time or print space to tell Americans what they are.
I remember when the democrats were in the minority, the media was always shoving a microphone into the faces of the of the republican majority leaders, asking them to comment on some democrat criticism of a republican plan, bill, proposal or policy. "President Bush, how do you respond to what senator Reid said about your plan to...."
You don't see the same media demanding Pelosi, Reid or 0bama respond to every criticism of democrat policy from the minority republican leadership. The only time they ask is when the left-wing media is offended by what republicans say, and want the democrats to pile on board.
I dropped my membership as a Republican bout 5 years ago. Their problem is the same as the Dems. To many old, big money, political and business aristocrats running the show and pulling the strings. I am SICK of being ruled by Bush's, Clintons, Kennedy's, Rockefellers', et al, etc. Our government structure, Dem and Pub, especially, is as priviledged and aristocratic as any a monarchy has ever been. We just call those in power presidents, senators and congressmen instead of kings dukes and barons and we the people are called citizens instead of peasants and serfs (publicly anyhow). Behind the closed doors in Washington we are called just that, by BOTH party's.

Yea, the same guys who all voted against the Stimulus but offered nothing, then held a press conference to show a "new budget" in opposition to the Democrat plan and.............wait for it..............it was BLANK!!

What's left of the GOP is hurt most by its utter inability to function as a viable political party, and this problem is one that's been progressing like some terminal cancer for decades. Attack-politics, wedge issues, 50%-plus-1. These may help win elections, but in the long-run, they lose voters, a process which is only accelerated when you turn out to be horribly wrong about most things on top of it. What may be the last remnants of the Republicans are today all-in on a policy of nothing but opposing, frustrating, and blindly discrediting everything that anyone else tries to do in the hope that whatever national failure they can help bring about will eventually provide them with some sort of partisan advantage. They no longer participate in the political process. They merely heckle. And the more that bunches of off-the-wall, screaming, Palinesque yahoos come to be the face of the Republican Party, the worse off they are.

Yes. I agree. I was actually talking to a friend about this. How is that they had no problem spending billions and billions in aid to Isreal and trillions to Iraq but to spend it here in the US is just grounds for NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Most of those opinions are just left wing rants and trivial, not really worth voting on.
The real reason the GOP is hurting is because they support policies that sell out the large portion of the population to countries that are not our own.
