I wonder if the Reagans left their $250,000 tea sets for the Obamas to use?

Look on the bright side; it keeps him out of D.C., and he isn't making any speeches!

Im new to CD, but some replies are flat out really sad.

I think this would be news if he was the first prez to ever go on vacation, but Im pretty sure every prez has gone on vacation regardless of 'what was going on' at the time.

Very petty and lame.

Chump change. Do you really think that our president giving up some personal relaxation time with his family will suddenly fix the economy?? He has a really tough job. I don't begrudge him a nice vacation.

Naw, I think the Clintons took those things along with so many other things they took when they moved out.

Like I said earlier, it is very nice that they can take those vacations at public expense. You know, Air Force I, all the Secret Service men that go along, housing and all that.

Again, let me say that I think it is very nice that they can do all that. It is also very nice that he can get some time away from the grind with Emanuel and Axelrod.
