60 Minutes has spent the whole hour praising the deceased Don Hewitt who created and produced the show for decades. While I agree that Mr. Hewitt was a pioneer and he did a good job with the show, he never did come clean to Americans about the cigarette company scandle in which he refused to allow the airing of a sgement about the evil tobacco companies and how they covered up the fact that they kill people!
He has always said since that it was not him but CBS lawyers who killed the story. If that was true WHY have we not been given the details? Who were the lawyers? What were their names? What did they say and when did they say it??
These questions have never been answered and now probably never will be.
