I can understand that. What I can't understand is that so often these same women want to limit access to BC and education that would reduce the number of unwanted pregnancies.

Of course I know some of you will say, "She shouldn't have had sex" but aside from all that, do you feel this issue matters to those in the "pro life" community who care so much about the "unborn"?
I don't see the connection you're getting at here. How does my being pro-life mean that I would think women should not get screwed by our health system???

So many people on the pro-life side harp on about the ills of abortion but they are doing very little to help pregnant women when they need health insurance.

I'm not saying because you're pro-life you think that women should be screwed over but I think it would be a lot more effective for those on the anti-choice side to try to do more to help pregnant women rather than limit their options by trying to make abortion illegal.

Its liie filing bankrupsy and then going to the bank for a house loan. people need to realise that insurance is somehting that you don't buy for 1200 a month and expect to recive 10000 in treatemnt in no time. Its a risk pool and it requires alot of epople in that ri8sk pool not pay a little and then collect alot. Some pay much more than others because they get little benefits and none are sure to get more than they apy.But there are programs for pregeant women like this woman by people that have given more thought thahn she has and paid for it with thier money. Its just starting for her if she did not plan ahead lke most things.

If you don't like your health insurance, grow up and get a real job.

Who told this person to take a job without benefits?

She "discovered" she was pregnant?

Does she understand that copulating causes pregnancy?

So now after she "discovers" that she's pregnant she wants to saddle the rest of us with her new expenses?

So what's the plan, after she delivers the kid she then drops the policy until she "discovers" she's pregnant again?

I always find it so humorous when liberal women who insist on being treated as equals with men conveniently excuse themselves from the same standard of accountability that they themselves apply to men.

The easy way out is to contact an adoption agency. They will provide married couples who, once selected, will pay for everything. My sister did it back in the nineties with her second (Joseph, now 15-ish). The agency introduced her to two couples whom she interviewed before granting the adoption to the second couple. The first couple answered one of her questions wrongly (will you still want the baby if he is imperfect when born?). The second couple were "pro-lifers" who attended a local church. We would come to find out when she was ready to deliver that this church was the same one that my mother attended. Call it a small world or Divine intervention, but the end result was that my mother got to see her grandson each Sunday following the adoption.

If I marry at some point in the future, I'm sure I will adopt as well.
