Ok I admit right now that I did not read the entire post but before I comment I want to be sure I am clear on this. An Asexual is someone that has zero interest in sex? Once this is answered for me I will comment.

Read for yourself - I don't want to comment.

Ok so what is to come out of the closet about. There are millions of people that have no interest in sex what is the big deal?

What about virtual sex?

Is that useless, too?

Maybe we are talking about psychological or physiological male or female eunuchs.

Maybe eunuchism is germane to this mystery.

Eunuch - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

And then of course, there is the age old question of whether the causation of asexuality is nurture or nature.

We would all be surprised how many married people are asexual. It all cools off at some point.

What closet? If our society was not so sex obsessed we would not care what others are doing in their bedroom. Where did this need to know about other's sex life come from?

I find human sexuality interesting. Many others do too. I don't see it as an obsession.

Thank goodness there are people are highly interested in learning about sexuality. It's a subject that's well worth studying, in my opinion. Of course, I know that a lot of people prefer ignorance on subjects that make them uncomfortable, but hopefully they won't shame others who don't share their views.
