Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know it's a dupe, now, but it's still pertinent.

This must have been a right-wing talking point e-mail, because it's a DUPLICATE of Miborn's thread.

How dare those darn republicans use the internet to get out their message like the democrats did last year

Only democrats are allowed to use the net to get out their message.

The more the Republicans speak the more people hear how ridiculous they sound.
We need a universal health care system. We do not need private health insurance companies. They can go and insure something else.

John Stossel formulating right wing talking points. Now that's an entirely unexpected development!

ABC's John Stossel Destroys/Pulverizes/Crushes Obama's anti-American 'Health Care' Plan.

Shouldn't the title be "ABC's John Stossel Destroys/Pulverizes/Crushes Obama's anti self-serving, multi-billion dollar corporate monopoly, and the crazies that support these industries while losing their own Health-care Plan.

Everyone has a different view.

This entire video hardly 'destroys' etc. etc...in fact, many of the "talking points" are just that...
The very crux of the argument is weak. Every point made, is based on assumptions of random scenarios....assumptions of imaginary situations.
If this is what people find impressive, well, then I am shocked by their lack of depth and understanding of complex concepts.
That, and John Stossel is one step away from Geraldo's career path....maybe it's a mustache thing?

Now, why would anyone hate our public school system? You know... the one that does such a good job of dumbing our top students down to the bottom on international rankings?
Joann DiGennaro - Gifted Minds We Need to Nurture - washingtonpost.com

And we have a President that pays lip service to better education, but pleas for help fall on his deaf ears and yield only politically-motivated attempts at censorship...

"President Obama isn’t taking kindly to a television ad that criticizes his opposition to a popular scholarship program for poor children, and his administration wants the ad pulled.
Former D.C. Councilmember Kevin Chavous of D.C. Children First said October 16 that U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder had recently approached him and told him to kill the ad..."
