IF any of you had bothered to read the article you would have seen that she was removed because she kept yelling at McCain while he was trying to address the crowd. This was before the whole question and answer session had started. He told her that she needed to either stop or leave, and obviously she didn't stop. The crowd applauded when security escorted her from the building, so I would guess she was being an ass.

My thing is, when Dem reps either leave or have people removed, there's a wingnutter backlash while McCain is applauded. I totally agree that McCain should have kicked her out as should Dem reps who are shouted down...Fox was just playing some of Howard Dean's townscream meeting and Fox was of course applauding the crowd for preventing dialougue from occuring. So ridiculous.

Oh, give me a break! "Republicans acting badly" always translates to "plants" according to the RW.

He's backing reform, not the current plan up for discussion. The two are not the same.

Thing is, as was during the campaign, he has no plan for said reform, just the word reform.

He laid out suggestions as did other republicans, but none of those have made it into the bill. It's not that he doesn't have ideas, it's that his are dead before even being up for discussion.

Are you referring to the 4 page healthcare plan the GOP slapped together? McCain's healthcare plan is the same as his economic plan, Nothing..

GOP 102: You can't lose if you don't play.

Why do you think they created that? They were trying to use the existing plan as a starting place for discussion and kept getting shut out of the conversation. They would prefer to have input on the existing bill rather than have to create a parallel plan, but that hasn't been allowed.

"VAN SUSTEREN: Are the Republicans sort of sitting back, waiting to see what the Democratic bill is so they can then punch some holes in it or rewrite it, or are they -- or are they writing their own, saying, Look, scrap the Democrats. This is the bill we should have.

STEELE: Well, I think -- well, this is -- that's a very good question, Greta, and I'll tell you why, because between the House and the Senate, there have been over 800 pieces of legislation and amendments to various bills introduced by Democrats in the House and the Senate that have been rejected outright. So they've tried that, writing the bill, if you will, or putting their input into the documents that have been produced, and it has all been rejected."

I think democratic congress people should have taken note of that, when dealing with rogues in their town halls. But I don't think you will maintain the same tone then. In fact, would wager that you wouldn't have (or won't). You can't present self as an idealist, unless you walk the talk.

McCain has done that during election campaigns too. I still remember people being called "just a static" after they were booted out. And don't forget, a 60-year old librarian, who wasn't allowed into his town hall for carrying a sign "McCain =Bush". Instead, was issued a ticket for trespassing (yes, at a "public" townhall) and threatened to be arrested if she were to return. Ask Adam Kokesh as well.

Where were you folks then? Wait... may be they never showed it on Fox, or talked about in right wing radio, drudge report, NRO, WND or whatever.
