lol, we're a blight are we? We do volunteer neighbourhood elder care. We volunteer at the Humane society. I volunteer in palliative care, for those that refuse hospice and wish to stay at home with their families. I have yet to look after a gay person. It's interesting that less than 10% of the population can ruin a whole country. Strangely that hasn't happened in Canada. Why is that?

Another lame poll. Anyone voting "yes" or "maybe" need to get their heads examined or return to their true homeland = Iran

Fox News has published findings regarding relationships among Pashtun men
Quote:
...found that Pashtun men commonly have sex with other men, admire other men physically, have sexual relationships with boys and shun women both socially and sexually -- yet they completely reject the label of "homosexual." The research was conducted as part of a longstanding effort to better understand Afghan culture and improve Western interaction with the local people.
Seems some other cultures have exhibited like tendencies, without Catholic intervention, but I'll leave that to your own research.

Default It's the Catholic Church that's a threat to the public good.

I think that gays would be alot better off if they lived thier lives privately and just shut up. Very few people care what someone does in the privacy of their own home, however, the constant public barrage of "kiss ins" and such BS creates a strong reaction. I don't think I have ever participated in a heterosexual rights parade, nor a public kiss in, nor have I ever discussed my sexuality with a stranger. Sexuality, like religion, are private, personal matters and if one makes them public, expect a public repsonse. Imagine how well homosexuality is tolerated in China and Islamic states and one should feel very fortunate to be an American. Shut up and live free.

hawkeye2009, in reference to your reference about gay pride parades (when you said heterosexual rights parade)

Gay pride got part of its inspiration for wildness from this straight festivity. Gay parades were originally extremely tame fully clothed meager marches to let the public know that there were more than 5 gays in North America.

Here's the straight event that gay pride began modelling their parades after.
