However, if they open the school facilities to some nonstudents, they cannot keep others out because of their ideals. The court ruled that by opening its doors to some groups, the school district was obligated to leave them open to other groups9. In a similar situation in Boston, a school district that allowed a group to circulate anti-busing literature was required to let a pro-busing group circulate literature as well10."
Does anyone remember the NPR reporter after the Republican convention calling up the California public school principal at Walter F. George Elementary to ask if Republicans had permission to use a photo of the school as a stage backdrop?

I really don't get the Obama/ Joker pictures. I watched the Joker in the last Batman movie and Heath Ledger(sp?) was clearly channeling Al Franken as his role model for the Joker. The mannerisms, voice, speaking style, personality.
Borderline or arrogant cops often overstep their bounds and bully people to get their own way and make incorrect decisions or abuse procedures.
The cop didn't seem racist or even arrogant, just a little bit of a slacker and disagreeable. Maybe he didn't like being reminded that he voted for Obama and now has to secretly agree with the protestors he has to deal with. That would make anybody angry and short tempered.
I don't see what race has to do with this at all-but this is clearly a cop that gets off asserting authority without proper justification. Unfortunately, this happens all too often for me to take particular note of this incident.
