Personal responsibility played no part in the foreclosures, huh? Bush must have also forced American's to run up personal debt far beyond what they could handle too, huh?

The deficit, under Bush, pales in comparison to the deficit under Obama. This is more than demonstrable - its driving the current anti-government protests all across America.

Is that really all you have?

And just who were the greedy lenders who doled out the loans? Capitalist pig Republicans no doubt. Banks aren't known to be filled with liberals, yunno.

In fact, when I worked for one, we (employees) were asked to donate to a PAC that was republican.

'Everyone prospered'? Perhaps you have not been paying attention to the millions who have declared bankrupcy, been foreclosed on, or are currently seeking employment. By the way, the CEO bankers are the ones who ok'd the toxic loans, giving themselves billions in bonuses, and then passing the bad checks to the taxpayers - all under Bush's watchful eye.

No, read above. I could take the time to go further into depth, and maybe I will. You have to be a real rocket scientist (/sarcasm) to NOT see what eight years of Halliburton-style greed got us into. The ONLY people who profited were of the upper classes. Sure, their portfolios grew, while the average Joe has seen his savings dwindle, jobs disappear, etc. Wow, if you cannot see what is self-evident, go buy a pair of glasses.

Actually, I never heard any of that until MAO-bama got elected other than 1 or 2 companies a year. Are you going to blame the dot.com collapse on Bush as well?

'never heard any of that'? Doesn't surprise me - about all you do know, is how to make up new names for the president.

Well, thats better than covering up his lies and socialist ideals like you are. Do you really hate America that much that you would worship Giggles to the gates of hell?

Savings dwindled? Historically, the savings rate in America is abysmmal. Access to easy credit, in all forms, is what put this nation into a tailspin. Not George Bush. People maxed out credit cards, bought jumbo houses they could not afford, and were caught with their pants down when the job market tanked. This path was not sustainable. Period. To blame it on Bush is not being honest with yourself.

Halibuton?

Do you really want to go down this road?

Stimulus bill?

Cap and scam?

Health care reform?

By the White House tally, overall advertising so far by PhRMA and other supporters of the bill has swamped efforts by opponents. Republican strategists concede it would be extremely difficult to match an effort of the size PhRMA is planning.

"SEIU is leading the charge for health care because they stand to make major gains in unionizing the entire system," Mr. Berman said. "They might try to inject some pro-union requirements into the bill."
Unions may seek gains in other areas, too, including the potential to loosen labor department regulations, receive pension assistance and secure another increase in the minimum wage.
