but what do you think happens to the animals that you get your meat from?
Ever been to a slaughterhouse?
It's unsanitary and brutal.
This negative energy is in all of the food you eat, along with hormones.
The further removed you are from the actual kill, the less you are aware of the unspeakable cruelty that goes into a meat supply.
Meat doesn't come from little packets, it comes from animals that suffer greatly for your meal.
Why would you eat meat at all?
"Why would you eat meat at all?"
Because I like steaks, hamburgers and hot wings...
i may be a vegan who doesn't know anything about farming, but i definitely know that eggs are fertilized while still inside the chickens (just like human eggs)! chickens aren't frogs!
I worded that very poorly. But cut me some slack, I was half asleep when I typed that. I didn't want to go into detail on chicken sex. LOL I was trying to get across you get eggs without a rooster. Once the rooster has sex with the hen the eggs it lays will be fertilized. If you have a rooster with the hens you have to check the eggs after they're layed to see if they're fertilized (candle them).
The video is quite clearly severely edited, apart from the obvious fact that skinning alive a furbearer is dangerous and leads to damaging the fur. Latest Shock Video (http://www.furcommission.com/news/newsF08q.htm - broken link)
I trap wild furbearers. You couldn't pay me to skin an animal alive, for the obvious cruelty reasons, and the fact it's incredibly dangerous and leads to fur damage.
Not the first time this has been falsified. The supposed video of a seal being skinned alive in the 60's as part of the campaign to end marine mammal imports from Canada, was a person paid to torment the animal by an animal rights group: "Snuff" Films (http://www.furcommission.com/news/newsC7.htm - broken link)
"Following a public outcry and investigation, the man in the film, Gus Poirier of Prince Edward Island, signs an affidavit declaring that he was "employed by a group of photographers ... to skin a large seal for the film. I solemnly swear before witnesses that I was asked to torment the said seal and not to use a [club], but just to use a knife to carry out this operation, where in normal practice a [club] is used to first kill the seals before skinning them." A Federal Standing Committee castigated CBC "for not enquiring into its accuracy before screening," but the damage had been done."
And your last statement about sums it up...it's done to milk money out of people shoscked by it.
Look, if it makes you sleep better at night telling yourself it's all just staged, fine, but don't go around perpetuating myths that it doesn't actually happen. It's been documented by a lot of independant organizations. If animal rights organizations truly didn't care about animals and are only after money, they would be in another business, because there's not much money to be made. Claiming they pay people to skin and boil cats and dogs alive just to receive more donations is laughable.

Could you provide the documentation?
Didn't PETA kill over 95% of the dogs and cats it had in its own shelters???
I'm not going to search google for the pictures and videos, mainly because I don't feel like seeing it, but also because the burden of proof is not on me as arctichomesteader is the one claiming it's all fake. Let's see some proof that it is.

That doesn't excuse the cruelty humans inflict on animals, because they are actually aware of what they are doing to them. A wild animal has no such concept, so you can't blame him.

He posted some proof....
Sorry if supporting your assertions is too much trouble.
There was absolutely no proof in that article. Just a bunch of assertions that it must be fake because of it's cruelty. It doesn't even deal with the skinning and boiling of live cats and dogs for their fur and meat, which was what I mentioned and of which there are pictures and videos on the internet that you can find easily enough.
