Today, after Republicans accused the White House of trying to indoctrinate school children with liberal propaganda the White House and the Department of Education changed the section to now read, "Write letters to themselves about how they can achieve their short‐term and long‐term education goals.”

It really boils down to people like me who don't like the man, his politics, his socialism and his ideas addressing my kids. He is not the type of person I respect or want my kids to emulate.

Umm, incorrect. Don't spread falsehoods. Neither Bush or Reagan held press conferences that directly targeted and addressed the nation's student population.

Bush read a bunch of elementary schoolers a book and had a photo-op on 9/11/2001. Reagan may have had photo-ops but never addressed all the students as a collective one. Neither asked students to pledge.
