But if you'd like to look at the old thread one more time .... the "screenwide popup advertisement for Obama Healthcare" that you somehow thought might be an indication of a takeover of ABC News by Obama? .... THAT was just capitalism - it was a way for ABC (and FOX "News", as well) to make a buck.
An important point that seems to be missing your grasp is that ABC News specifically is refusing to run ads on TV that are AGAINST Obamacare.
They say that's because they don't want to be involved in the debate.
So why then would they run an ad FOR Obamacare?????
I'd really love to hear your explanation about that.
First thing you see even before the main page is a screenwide popup advertisement for Obama Healthcare funded by AARP and ABCnews.
Did Obama take over ABC too and we just missed it??
No. We just missed the fact that Obama was PREselected by the major media as first choice for President with McCain second. What you saw just confirms that. Has the major media EVER said anything critical of Obama? No! The worst thing I've heard is from time to time they will mention his popularity ratings are low and that's it. You have to go to the internet or to business outlets to hear anything different (or truthful).
For example, does the major media cover the outrage at town hall meetings? No. They brush it off saying the protests are from right wing fringe members which isn't the case at all. The outrage is coming from huge numbers of people getting greater and greater all the time.
I sure thought that this thread would be about Charlie quitting. I haven't seen anything about who is taking his place, yet. Why, of course, Couric has been so successful that they are bringing along Diane Sawyers to take Charlie's place. She is pretty popular in the morning as Couric was but Couric bombed the CBS show and Sawyer probably will also for ABC.
Our local ABC affiliate has been running stories, daily, about individuals with insufficient medical insurance coverage. Like Obama, they seem to believe that we don't have the ability to think for ourselves.
