An excellent example of government control of health care - the 100% government controlled and funded Indian Health Services - lack of funds, lack of quality, long lines, needless deaths and rationing.

A great question; Why do we think government-run HC would be any different?

The Presidents plan is about CHOICE. Stay with your private health insurance company if you don't like a public option.

You can keep the health insurance you have.

That's been debunked - One might like the insurance their employer provides and want to keep it - but if the employer decides to switch to the "cheaper" government option, the employee is stuck with it.

The CBO estimates that tens of millions will NOT get to keep the HC they want.

Stop listening to the obama talking point - no one believes it for good reason - it is right there in the language of the bill.

The corporatists that run this country see no reason to waste government money on Veterans, American Indians or the poor. To do so would cost them money, prestige and position.
