I believed they said the original thread was BS and more fear-mongering from the wacky right. Something like that.
I completely fear any other country's flag flying at our White House, I don't care which lawn it is or how spectacular the "celebration" is. To those who will, I say bring on your hate and your nastiness. Call me a racist, call me crazy, call me whatever you need to to make yourself feel bigger and stronger. No other country's flag should ever be raised at the White House.
You know, this time last year I was concerned we might be overexaggerating the socialist leanings of our country. Now I see we weren't emphasizing it nearly enough.
They DO own us and all. It's the least we could do.

You know, someone made a comment to me the other day about what we would do when China called our debt. He speculated that they might trade some of the debt for land. What if our country gave them the land the government owns? That would be parks and protected lands. And a lot of that land has oil reserves. So, we could potentially give them our land and oil riches, they could drill and sell us our own oil. Pure speculation, obviously (at least at this point) but the idea isn't that far off when you consider we're now going to fly their flag over our WH.
