Not sure where you asked about Obama but the majority in Europe think he was the best choice and hope Americans will get behind him and not keep opposing him for every single thing he does.
Europeans cannot understand how America voted Obama in for change and now oppose change. Most Europeans do not follow American Politics as we do not have hardly any American news chanels here and American politics is not a big subject on European news stations.
1 - The dumbasses that voted for him thought the change he was referring to was to change the ineffectiveness of govt to actually get something done..both sides..

2 - Who the hell cares what the Europeans think..they can't understand us because we are not Socialists like them...and want us to be..coz misery loves company and they would love nothing better than to see us go down..and they see Obama as the Pied Piper to lead us into hell...thats why they love him..

And Israel is not in Europe. It is in the Middle East .
Israel is in ASIA. The Middle East is not a continent, it's a region, like the Midwest or the South Pacific.

Europeans think that it's silly how so many Americans thought that by electing Obama, the world would now think better of the US. They think it's funny how so many Americans suddenly had the idea that because of Obama, they now can be proud of their country. They think it's stupid that so many Americans thought that voting for Obama was somehow hip. The idea many people in the US had that Obama will change everything for the better as soon as be becomes president - etcetera etcetera.

Where are you getting all that from? Source.

I'm not sure where you heard Europeans expressing those views, but all indications that I have are to the contrary.

I doubt that many voters thought the POTUS could solve everything or followed him blindly.

If this is your way of stomping on the choice of the majority of your fellow Americans you could simply follow the lead of like minds on this forum.

We have a few that post nearly every day almost like it's their job or duty.If you don't know who they are, you will if you participate. At least they are obvious and direct. Perhaps this is all the better you can do.

You're not understanding the perspective of the Obama craze that people found absurd.

90% did not "want" anything. Only, out of media surveys of the available candidates, people did support Obama more than the others and felt america was so deeply hated everywhere, they needed a diplomatic person, someone who could present himself to the world to bring calm to the resentment Bush had brought. That and not a wingnut, or narrow minded person who has never seen the world, really, like Bush or McCaine. I mean, if McCaine had such poor discrimination he chose Sarah Palin as his second in charge, WHAT ELSE can he not reason himself to decide once he would be in office? It was such a bad decision, a total disaster. The man must have been a moron to select her. And I think Sarah Palin was the nail in his coffin.

What was always almost laughable, was the naive expectations coming from people's expectations of the wonders Obama would create. So the press made fun of Obama's "divinity" created in america. Like the second coming of Christ or something. This is what they are finding absurd.
For example, when americans were interviewed what they think Obama would provide to the country, many even thought him being elected meant they would not have to pay their bills or worry about work.... I mean, come on! This is just a politician. His task is a sad one and its virtually impossible that he will be able to solve the problems even in four years, after years of abuse of the system by both the Bushes. To drag yourself out of a $10 trillion debt is no small task. And no matter how odd it sounds, one has to spend money, and spend them wisely, to turn money drainers around. And I think he is trying to do that - but lets hope he has a real solid, good team of advisors who truly can envision what their actions bring in the long run.

Don't pelt stones on Obama yet. If you allowed Bush to reign so long without filling townhalls with screamers and yellers inspite of the immense damage he did to this country - you simply cannot pelt this early on Obama. Allow him his four years to show if any improvements have happened versus 2009. You can't really count this year in because the entire country is in a downward spin right now, and it will be that way until breaks are applied. But rest assure many nations are chipping in to try and put these breaks internationally so the whole nation will not collapse. The U.S. has huge investments in Europe, so Europe is trying everything in their decisions too that reflects back on america and helps this country to stabilize the dollar, etc., instead of weakening it but this will take time.

The word "ignorant retard" is insufficient to describe your level of thinking.

Developed nations never want anyone to go down, because they pull each other with them. You really don't understand that basic fact? Their economy feed on each other and they invest in each others economies. If america goes, Europe will suffer to. So get a grip, pinhead.

I guess it is possible you found a tiny minority of Europeans who are as clueless as today's American rightwinger.

To somehow say they are representative of Europe is as ridiculous as the rest of your post
