For once I wish the CIA would organize another successful coup and get rid of Chavez.

I like how people are leaving out that Chavez supports FARC and other left-wing terrorist groups in Colombia and that has more than a little to do with how a lot of Colombians view the man.

Chavez has been rubbing the Venezuelan people the wrong way for years. One of my closest friends left Venezuela long ago because he started to look like a dictator. Now that it's obvious he wants to become one, the rest of his family is trying to leave.

Many people in Latin America have problems with Chavez because he's coming off as a meddler in their country's affairs.

odd, no?

no mention of oogo giving $300 to FARC terrorists.

that probably wouldn't stop leftists falling all over themselves to defend him had it been mentioned, anyway.

We have bases in Columbia only to support the drug traffickers and to fund our clandestine war against the indigenous people of South America in favor of the landowners repressing them. I suspect these “protest marchers” were paid by the dictator of Columbia for their time. Or maybe just rounded up and forced to march at gunpoint. More likely the latter.
