Quite transperent, actually.

Previous "czars" went through confirmation hearings.

As we saw with Van Jones, obama's czars are not required to - a very clever way of usurping congressional oversight.

This is a lie.

Why? Because several of Obama's "czars" have indeed gone through confirmation hearings.

And because several of the "czars" of previous administrations did not have to go through confirmation hearings.

And that's been explained previously on other "czar" threads, of which there are too many. And since sanrene reads every anti-Obama thread avidly, is aware of these facts. And yet continues to lie.

Default Conservatives' Criticism of President Obama for Employing Czars

It's a good thing no GOP president ever appointed any czars.

I love Rachel Maddow because she's smart, knows her stuff and she just plain makes sense to me....I also know what her perspective is and listen to it in exactly that way, rather than as "news" which I'm sure even she'd admit it is not. Which is probably a bit more than you all can say about your friends Hannity, Beck and O'Reilly.

I actually watched a couple minutes of her show today and I swear I could not see how anyone could believe a thing she said. She is a puppet that makes all the puppets on the right and left swinging "news" programs look like actual humans. Please keep bringing that kind of ammo to a fight.

now I need to find someone that actually voted for nancy and I can die a happy man
The thing is, Madow is so intelligent and covers issues in a fast paced highly academic manner, one must be intelligent to follow her. She also moves along quickly and does not repeat the same thing constantly like Fox Noise does. Therefore a listener must be disciplined in the art of listening as well. Because intelligence and the ability to listen are required, many people are unable to comprehend her. Those people prefer the non-factual version on Fox Noise because it has been dumbed-down for them!

I suppose people who follow him make fun of people who listen to Rush or watch Hannity and Bill O? I'm sure the irony will not slap any of you across the face..
I watch MSNBC........and not just Olberman and Rachel.

Thats completely untrue. NO "advisors" have gone through confirmation hearings to hold their "advisors" positions.. They might have gone through congress for OTHER positions that they hold, but they ideed did not need congressional approvel to become an advisor..

If you think otherwise, please name the czar, I mean advisor, so I can look into the congressional hearing and what was asked of them..
