As Joe pointed out during his speech, "He said" is virtually useless.

should we retitle this thread "what happened to the hyde amendment"?

is obama proposing that we get rid of it? cause if we don't, federal funds still can't be spent on abortions.

as i understand it, the capps amendment applies to *private* insurance plans where other aspects of the plan receive federal funding. it would not apply to a government insurance plan where all funds come from the government.
