She calls the American public "UnAmerican and the Town hall attenders are called "brown shirts with swastika's on their arm"! No appology what so ever.
Rangel and his staff can cheat taxes and that is okay for her.
When Obama is told in the House "You Lie" which he did....That is too much for her windtunnel face to handle!
I thought she was going to sue Joe Wilson for her face to collapse
As EmeraldMaiden posted here in post #22, it's not so much what he said as how and where he said it.
A news program the next day would have been an appropriate forum for commentary. Interrupting the President the middle of a speech to a joint session of Congress and calling him a liar is not the correct time nor place, unless you are terminally stupid or incurably neanderthal.
Crude, crass, boorish, classless, ill-mannered, rude, inappropriate, uncivil, and unbecoming a gentleman are all terms that leap to mind, not counting the fact that Wilson, as a retired colonel with the NG, should certainly have shown more respect for the current CIC of the Armed Forces of the United States of America.
I think the link between calling the President a liar in congress and racism is highly suspect. Eventually the population of independents, moderate to conservative Democrats, and liberal to moderate Republicans will become completely deaf to the "it's racist" argument if used in too many ridiculous situations. Republicans had almost equal amounts of vitriol for President Clinton--who was by most accounts more conservative than our current President--so I think most of the conservative distaste stems from a political "us vs. them" as opposed to a racial one. This is similar to the liberal invective directed at President Bush from the moment he took office and will explain the behavior of liberals towards our next conservative President.
I think even the Black Publishers recognize this--even if they do suspect his remarks, or any remarks critical of the president, to be racist--and make the much more direct link between the continued flying of the confederate flag and racism when talking about a boycott.

But then again, these people probably praise Lincoln who showed a strong inclination to support the Ghost Amendment and wanted to use taxpayers' money to recolonize black folks since he deemed them the inferior race that couldn't get along with the more inferior race. And I wonder if they even know that the CSA prevented importation of slavery.

It has been proven that Jow Wilson was right in his remarks...maybe he shouldn't have yelled it, but he was right.
The White House is quickly changing the words in the bill and that is all because of Joe Wilson...Why would the WH change anything if the president was right...even the blue dogs started immediately to close the loop hole.
The constant cry out about racism if almost laughable...Condaleeza Rice, Colin Powell are black and were in the government...if Rep. would be racist why was never anything said about them other than when Powell started to go against Bush, while he first had made statements about Iraq him self...if he didn't agree back in the time he should have resigned, but he went along until he thought it was time to bash Bush! That was low, and had nothing to do white balck or white...just a low thing from Powell.

Got a link? I am under the impression that the HC reform would not cover illegals. Where in the language of the HC bill that either explicitly states this or provides a loophole?
Do you have the slightest idea WHY it did?! Speaking of Facepalm.
Entertain me. Why?
