Oh, you say, those cuts are only on the wealthy. While the current MSM headlines may say that a quick google shows that items like these are expiring:

-10% bracket
-child tax credit
-elimination of marriage penalty tax
-elimination of Federal death tax
-taxes on dividends
-taxes on capital gains

Except for the dividends and capital gains that list hits everyone with the lower classes hit the worst.

The 01 and 03 cuts are NOT going to go away, no evidence what so ever of that. What will go away is the cuts on the top two brackets, the rest will remain.

does that answer your question
Oh, right. Obama knocked on my door just today and told me he's taking my land for the government. Sad that you can read the definition and still think Obama is a socialist.

That might make sense if the extra $750 was the difference to being able to afford it or not, but that isn't the case when you are making $275,000....
How do you know...You don't know what one's economic situation is...just because they're making $275,000 or higher...

Do you have links on that ? So far all I have found are articles saying they should be made permanent but those are a bit old as well.

Current articles just mention "the cuts" to the wealthy but do not detail which cuts. That list is what I read from an article dated 2006.

NO ONE, and I mean NO ONE, is stopping you from arranging extra payment out of your paycheck, 401K, IRA, pension, and savings to go towards helping the poor get ahead. I am very charitable. I give, give, and give more. Anyone has a cause and asks for a check within reason, I write the check. As my taxes go up and I have less, I will give less. You can either have people donating the money DIRECTLY to charities, OR you can have the Government (think Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, US Postal Service, Subsidized Housing) getting their greasy fingers on our money to give it out fairly and equally to people who need it!!!! Who do you think would be better at distributing money??? Not hard to figure it out.......

You still don't know what socialism is...like I told someone else on this board...live in the UK for awhile and you'll understand socialism and Obama...;-/

You mean "Rope" and "Chain"s.....

And you know what? To make the unemployment figures not seem so bad, they are not also taking into account, like they used to, the underemployed and those working part-time that used to be full time or those who have been forced into early retirement. If they did we'd be up around 18% or 20% unemployment.
