Taylor Swift is 17, West was way out of line. As another poster mentioned, when questioned by Jay Leno as to how his Mother (who is deceased) would have reacted to his outburst, West came very close to tears.
An off the record, off the cuff comment made by The President should have remained off the record however, I have to agree with him. As Katy Perry said (of West)"it's like you stepped on a kitten".

Why does a network has to appologize for the words of the president...are they so special you can't forward them on a tweet....

IMO the words are correct to be used for Kanye...but indeed not presidential!

But this president has proven not to be "presidential" at all and btw he thinks he is still campaigning ......
0bama really needs to be more presidential, these continued personal attacks against citizens are inappropriate.

What else would any person of rational mind call Kanye West?

I finally saw the clip and all I could think was the man is drunk, desperate for attention and Beyonce clearly wished he hadn't mentioned her name.

By not saying a lot...AZ Bear, I already repped you for this one, but I wanted to say 'thanks' on here as well---especially for that last line!

Folks need to realize that people like Mr West do NOT represent the opinions and attitudes of the majority of the black race...period, end of story

No joke! They seriously need some new material...some days posting here is like being in a room full of parrots. West was a jerk, President Obama is right,
and clearly some people are incapable of making a comment that doesn't deteriorate into an attempt to slime the POTUS, regardless of the subject. IMO it's not a healthy state of mind...it's like obsessive-compulsive disorder, or Tourette's Syndrome.

Terry Moran should be FIRED!, Stupid immature little boy. You don't get his kind of position by being of an average intelligence. He should have known that any off the record discussion with the POTUS is just that. At the very least, the office of the POTUS should cut off all access to ABC's reporters.

He's right.
I don't care if it's Presidential or not. Sometimes I prefer a normal human reaction and this was a good one.

Indeed.

And who knows? Even Kanye West may someday be capable of a normal human reaction.
