Carter is an Idealist. Not an evil thing, but it can lead to disaster. He restored respect to the office? Not as far as Iran was concerned that is for sure.
He was the great give away president that too is for sure.
He did do something that I thought was great. He banned the sale of our most advanced weapon systems. Of all his acts that one is the one that I feel was his best as president.
No I do not admire him. He does not rate my admiration. But then no politician does.

If you are a racist, Obama hater - just own it. Own what you are because the world already knows it.

and I will repeat what I have said before, if those of us who do not like him or trust him do approve of wonderful men like J.C. Watts and supreme court justice Thomas what does that make us? Are you saying we only hate people who are part black???

Why would anyone listen to Carter, a national joke?
Worst president, to date.
He is a foolish old imbecile who loves terrorists.

sorry, I can't agree with you on this one: he has done wonders for people with his dedication to Habitat, but as for his bringing respect back to the White House, he did such a poor job I would have to say that is only your opinion. It took Reagan to really accomplish that.

President Carters failed administration haunts the American people even today. 29 years have passed since carter got the bums rush at the end of his first term.
We invented breeder reactors yet jimmy carter said, no can use. So, thanks to that incompetent fool, we are stuck with millions of tons of nuke waste that we'll never be able to get rid of and that's just for starters.
