Considering the source, we need to multiply that figure by three of four, because they are wanting to pass cap & trade, and this is putting a rosy picture on it to make it appealing.

When Obama and democrats stop flying around the world needlessly then we can talk about that till then i dont wanna hear it.

It is the government's job to take on issues too big for us to take on individually. The environment is one of those issues, as is foreign trade, diplomacy, etc. You are asked to pay for the same reason that you are asked to pay local taxes to support your fire department.
