Cute pics. As the daddy of a couple of daughters, there's nothing like having them welcome you home.

...and I'm shocked I thought so as I'm part of the "idiot right". My eyes are open now. Thanks Karfar for the unsolicited negativity!

I wish the children (all children) of presidents would be left completely alone. Both when they do cute stuff (like this) and when they do things they shouldn't.

There is nothing quite like a daddy/daughter bond.

Lovely shots. Does he get that kind of greeting every day, I wonder? I mean, he was only gone one day. Lots of dads go off to work and are gone only one day (if they're working these days, that is.)

It does appear he's very close to his daughters. It's heartwarming to see the bond and affection.

I'm with the poster who said that kids should be left out of the limelight, though.

Worship, are you kidding me?

These are very touching pictures. There is also a photography board where you or anyone could post pictures of just the same. Got any to share?

You don't generally start threads as this, people. Let's respect him for his private fun time with his kids and his exercise of fatherhood.

Because this clearly sets him up for a Nero situation (though historians argue he never did) of playing the harp when the country's in turmoil.
