Family and Friends, please explain this conservative/tea baggers outrage (drug, health care)

What do they mean when they say the country is going in the wrong direction? The Bush years was the right direction? where is this coming from?

Obama is basically a soft conservative/centrist. Nothing he has done has been so anti Bush, at least not yet.

Wallstreet/Banks/Credit Card companies basically still have their power.

Health Care is still the same and theres no signs of it being any different.

The War against Terrorism is still on.

First, Bush was no conservative, conservative voices (especially with regard to fiscal, small-government conservativism) were critical of Bush throughout most of his administration.

I agree with your basic assessment though, that Obama is a continuation of the Bush policy in many important ways. He has taken the worst trends of the Bush administration and accellerated them.

Obama is taking away their freedoms.

Government can't do anything right. (Except the military, because it's political suicide to bash a government institution like the military.

Obama has too many czars.

Obama is planning to take away their guns.

Obama is a Muslim.

Obama is a socialist. (Nevermind that only 0.29% of business in America is actually nationalized.)

Cash for Clunkers was a failure. (Tell that to the auto manufactures and media industry that depends on auto advertising.)

The stimulus is a bust. (Nevermind that only about 10% of the stimulus money has been spent.)

Obama reads from a TelePrompter.

Obama says "um" too much when he's not reading from said TelePrompter, therefore he must be a liar.

Obama is a liar. Who cares what a bi-partisan site like Fact Check.org says, Obama is a liar.

Obama wasn't born here.

Obama wants to censor Right Wing media.

Obama wants to destroy our missle defense systems.

I dont know about that. I mean if that were true the world would implode. I mean with Bush were were on the brink of WWIII.
