The raids were carried out well before investigators any case (much less a prosecutable case), and before they had figured out the nature of the plot, its intended target or its likely means of execution — if there was a plot at all.

Nobody arrested. Nobody detained. No weapons. No chemicals.

Nothing.

Please excuse my ignorance but how does imply that the Democrats and the administration is distracted from terror by pointing to an FBI investigation, which the last time I checked is headed by the administration, exposes a possible terrorist operation?
