Protesters who attended Saturday’s Tea Party rally in
Washington found a new reason to be upset: Apparently
they are unhappy with the level of service
provided by the subway system.
Rep. Kevin Brady called for a government investigation
into whether the government-run subway system
adequately prepared for this weekend’s rally to protest
government spending and government services.
Does the metro usually provide increased service for other marches and demonstrations? If not then they shouldn't complain... if so, then the fault lies with the subway system... its as easy as that but due to incompetent journalistic writing, its wasn't answered... the OP however still has a bit to learn about understanding the issues... but from previous posts... I am not surprised...
So the .gov didn't spend enough money preparing for their protest in which they complain about excessive .gov spending? Irony!
Of course, there is always the argument that the .gov spends SO much, at least a little tiny bit of it could be used for something useful, like public transpo.
oh and before they start whining, the tea party people should really look into the plethora of transportation craziness that took place on the day of the inauguration, when there actually were over a million people there. was the dc establishment trying to shut that down too?

Wow, I didnt hear anything about a lack of adaquate service during the Obama swearing in.. Was this your way of pointing out the huge crowds that showed up, or just another pathetic attempt to belittle those who disagree with higher taxes and government intrusion...

i doubt your average tea partier supports the government spending much, if anything on public transportation.
