So now Maxine is going to start a movement to monitor what people think. I guess she feels that freedom of speech does not involve freedom of thought. (Well too many times speech does not involve thought, but that's not the topic here. )

I'm sorry, but Maxine Waters is an idiot. You don't 'investigate' people for simply having an opposing view! What you do is listen to what they have to say and, then, if you decide their views are ridiculous, you ignore them. A white man disagreeing with Barack Obama doesn't mean he is racist any more than a black man disagreeing with George Bush would mean that black man was racist.

Her district is not very-well educated and is definitely lower-income overall. I admire her passion for certain causes, but I think the district deserves someone a little sharper.
