I only know of people like this from being online and seeing them post their view on public forums like this one. I don't know if they are "real" or just being foolish for their own amusement. But I do know that the more people even PRETEND to belive this nonsense (antichrist????) the worse shape our country is going to be in. I wish we could just slap everyone simultaniously and tell them to cut the crap.

I bet these are the same people that think George W. Bush set up 9/11.

And the same people that thought Ronald Reagan spread AIDS in black communites.

Let's not leave out that 32% of NJ democrats are truthers. Its not just conservatives that are prone to conspiracy theories.

I think him requesting crosses be covered when he was to speak did a lot for the anti-Christ image.

As for Nostradamus...the Bible predicts multiple anti-Christs leading up to the end times and one (or two depending on how you interpret it) big anti-Christs who control the world.

Does someone believe that? Since I was the person who used that word, I hope you weren't referring to me, because I didn't say that.

Stupid is everywhere.

During Bush's presidency a woman in my office told me that her preacher was saying from the pulpit that Bush was quite possibly the anti-Christ.

In a forum similar to this one I learned from one of the Brit posters that it is Tony Blair who is the anti-Christ.

Now it's Obama.

Stupidity appears in all classes, races, political leanings, religions and ethnic groups, just like cancer.

Here's my favorite quote on the subject:

Strange as it seems, no amount of learning can cure stupidity, and higher education positively fortifies it. Stephen Vizinczey, An Innocent Millionaire

There was some people awhile back that thought Nixon was the anti christ and that was after he was already dead. They thought he was going to rise from the dead and the pope was going to be his false prophet.

Yeah, and according to Harry Potter I can fly on a broom.

I firmly believe that ignorance is bi-partisan, but stupid is the sole territory of right wing-nuts.

I think it is premature to call him the anti-Christ. He has three and half more years- let's be patient and see how he does.

It is a terrible indictment of public education in this country.
