Do we not have freedom of choice any more! Is not watching an Obama Speech, a crime now! come on now. Does Obama always do what he is suppose to do, or does he not, this is ridicoulous to me.

This is not about whether or not it is a crime to watch or fail to watch an Obama speech; I don't think anyone here or in the school systems suggested such a thing. The issue is blatant racism, a significant ongoing issue in the deep south. Be happy if you live in CA as your name implies.

Should he resign...no.

It's just ignorance. No more no less.

It doesn't matter how you feel about POTUS, but he gives great speeches. He's telling your brats to go further in life. Dare to have a better life, than your parents. See yourself attending college. Stay in school and better your life.

I get it. No, he shouldn't try to help those misguided kids.

If he does not resign, the board should get rid of him even if it means defunding the position. He is a racist.

Thanks KevK for posting the link. This issue lingers because Cason is clearly a racist, Valdosta is divided racially, and the school board supports racism. I don't suppose Cason should resign; I prefer he be fired. I cannot stand the man.

BTW RickRoma - I don't have a race card to play. I do hate injustice. And I'll keep speaking out to people who choose blindness. Civility actually CAN be learned.

Indeed! And if people choose to keep their brats, I mean children, home from school because of the terror laden prospect of an Obama speech being aired, so be it!!!

Heck, why don't Mom AND Dad just take the day off work and say screw everything because of such an appalling event.

Who knows if he is certainly a racist. But he sure is stupid.
