Be careful what you wish for. A corporation is a separate entity. Without this protection, the owners, the stockholders, would be liable personally for what every employee does. It would totally collapse business in America.

I don't think anyone is considering doing away with the entire construct.

I would have liked to have heard more opinion from those free market inclined folks, but was still a good film and explains a good deal on how a corporation got to be considered a "legal person".

Do you have any proof of this? Or is this just your thoughts on it. I've studied corporate law and I've never seen anything along these lines. If this were true then the hard right wing wouldn't be pushing this idea because we all know that they are all about limiting the liability of corps when those corps do wrong.

Does anyone remember after the anthrax scare in '01 when all anyone in Congress could talk about was making all drug companies TOTALLY LIABILITY FREE from anything, if they would just protect us from those bad ole terrorists.
