I talked to a few people about it actually... weird how old news is just picking up over here... its been known that rural areas in China that people will have 2 kids... I suspect the attitude may be changing but it still has a long way to go... I predicted that it would happen... most people in China feared that the population was too large to be supported with jobs... however, I also discovered the penalty if authorities caught you with more than one kid... I was surprise what they would do... its pretty evil...

I hope they don't change the policy, I think a lot of countries should institute it. Too many people in the world consuming/destroying the resources.

You cannot kill millions of babies and expect things to grow and progress.

Nope. I strongly disagree. People should not be told by their government how many children they can have. As evilnewbie said, fertility is a right, not a priviledge. Besides, there are plenty of non-forceful ways to reduce the birth rate. They're called education and contraception.

There are too many inept and stupid people having children. It should be a privelege for people who are competent, not a right for all.
