Does anybody else think that Gary Trudeau has lost what talent he had for humor ? I read his strip and I just see story line after story line go by that he refuses to touch. Maybe he's afraid to offend certain politicians , maybe he just doesn't care, or maybe he can't find humor and satire any more. But his strip has become a waste of space. Some suggestions.
Example: Janet Napolitano made some assinine remarks about the need to have returning vets watched as potential terrorists. B D would get offended and spew some withering criticism towards the Obama Whitehouse. That CIA operative kid would get assigned to watch B D and he thinks that Obama is clearly losing it and Eric Holder is also compromised for their selling out the CIA. Quote: " They think the CIA is too rough on terrorists while they themselves palled around with terrorists."
Example: Duke and Son decide to get with the program and make some real money so they, of course, get jobs with Acorn. Graft, corruption and hillarity ensue.
He's finally doing something with the Obamacare protests although not much of it is funny or even objective. Having Doonesbury's mother get called a nazi or get bitten by a union goon would have been something.

Most newspaper comics suck. Apart from Dilbert I haven't had good chuckle, never mind a belly laugh, from them for over 20 years.

Yes. When I was in college, it was actually funny. He is just another angry, hateful lib who has lost any humor he once had (see David Letterman and Bill Maher- even Letterman used to be funny).

Trudeau's work representing the troops through Ray, D.B., Ellias and Toggle have been priceless.

His biggest accomplishment was to marry Jane Pauley (in her prime).

He's been doing it for forty years... you'd miss an inspiration now and again, too.

"Example: Duke and Son decide to get with the program and make some real money so they, of course, get jobs with Acorn. Graft, corruption and hillarity ensue."

GREAT IDEA!
