you're talking about decades and the earth is millions of years old. that's shortsighted and not logical.

And who says these models are simplistic?

Good model V&V/VV&A checks against empirical data.

People do not want to admit that glaciers are melting and the climate is changing because that would mean that our whole entire lifestyle and the entire human civilization would have to drastically change it's way of life.

And it would be a difficult change towards a less confortable way of life.

So people choose to pacify themelves by telling themselves that it's all a lie. They tell themselves it's just propaganda and there is nothing to worry about.

Man-made climate change is definitely happening. But mankind is not going to change it's ways. Manmade climate change will definitely run it's full course and nobody will put the brakes on it.

Time will tell. In 20 more years, we will all see what happens.

There is nothing to be gained by laughing off climate change. It might even be a good idea to start taking better care of our planet in general...dont'cha think?
We can't stop the climate from changing. It fact, it is a normal occurrence. If it wasn't changing, then we should be worried.

Under two Republican presidents (Reagan and G.W. Bush), the wealthy ended up paying more in taxes, by percent, than before those two presidents were in office.

Denying climate change (it's a world-wide conspiracy to scam Americans!)
Climate change? I thought it was "global warming?"

I have this article in a Star magazine, Feb 14, 1978:
"Americans face more crippling winters as a new Ice Age looms toward us."

Dr. John Gribbin, of the University of Sussex in England:
"We are going through the most unusual climatic period in the last 1,000 years.... If the present trends continues, and I think they will, I don't think there is any doubt that we are going to have another little Ice Age."

"Climatologist Dr. Robert Jastrow, of New York's Columbia University believes that America will be on the threshold of a new Ice Age within 20 years."
