From 8 to 20 is pretty rapid movement. I wonder when the UN will become the decider of our foreign policy. I hope not too soon.

I knew China and India were complaining they wanted more power.
If anything I thought it would become the G10 or something and let them in.
But they let the whole schoolyard in the door.

One aspect though is with more people, the chance is greater that nothing comes out of these meetings. The more people you add, the less you accomplish.

Right. Eeeehhhh.....the re-org happened 10 years ago. And don't forget that EU only counts as one, and some of the members are not countries, but international organizations such as IMF, World Bank, and European Central Bank etc. But some countries who don't play ball such as Switzerland, Norway, Iran and Venezuela were specificalliy NOT included although they meet the general GDP/PPP criteria. The actually insist there is no formal criteria, but if you look at the member countries they are all top-30 economies in the world/
