How much did Bush redistribute to defense contractors? How much is now being redistributed to shareholders in health insurance companies?

How much a year do you think those people are making? And how many self-employed people do you think lie there asses off on their taxes so that they don't show enough income to pay taxes? You pay that tradesman cash to do your work? Chance are he doesn't pay taxes on it.

I suspect that will go over a lot of heads.

Read the article. You are on the receiving end and you have been your whole life. You aren't going to stop working, you're going to retire and collect your socialistic Social Security. If you live a reasonable number of years, you will probably collect more from the combination of Social Security and Medicare than you put in. You put very little in during your early years because the wages were so much lower. Now you are going to collect based on today's cost of living. Yes, if you have a long retirement, you'll get more than you paid.

CNSNews.com - Obama's Policies Would Redistribute Nearly $1 Trillion in Wealth Every Year (http://www.cnsnews.com/news/article/54468 - broken link)
Find a legitimate source.

But even if it were true, that would just be re-redistributing, wouldn't it? I mean, since the money has progressively been stolen from the American people over the past 30 years?

And just by the way, rich people do not create jobs. Demand creates jobs.

Also by the way, there is NO level of taxation -- either existing or proposed -- at which one would not financially benefit from earning more money.

And lastly by the way, the Tax Foundation's report reprised in the OP contains nothing more than this: The structure of the federal income tax is and will continue to be progressive. That is, it will continue to emphasize an equalization of tax burden, not of tax payments.
Well here we have it, saganista, with her government job, trying to tell business owners and investors about how they dont make business decisions based upon taxes. ohh you never cease to put a laugh on my face with your ignorance of how real life is.

There isnt ONE business class or investor who wont discuss the tax ramifications on how to invest and when/how to withdraw money from their businesses. Even Warren Buffet, you know, the almighty Obama supporter will tell you in ever single one of his books, will discuss the tax ramifications on how he buys/sells companies and stock positions. Sorry, but I'll listen to a billionaire anyday over someone with a government job discuss tax ramifications.

Funny that something thinks that demand creates jobs.

As a woman who owned a business with 27 employees at one time, I needed money to grow my business and pay these employees.

It takes money to make money period, no poor lazy ass is going to give you a job.

Only the left wing welfare types will rise under the ObamAcorn plan.

yea, lets reward losers and screw over smart hard working people who create 85% of all jobs in America.

Welfare food must be great since Obama will spend more on welfare losers in 2010 then the entire Iraq War cost us.

defense contractors exchanged a service in exchange for payment. Thats not redistribution. I think someone should take up some basic business classes in school..
