I personally believe that alcoholics fall into two camps. There are those who become physically addicted and those that have fail to use the control that they have to stop- one is phsyical and the other is mental. There are probably degrees of both in betweenand some folks probably have both. I guess more like a spectrum than camps.

It's very sad and the children will be affected, as well.

Well, HereInFla, you and I are often in agreement.

And alcohol will definitely get you physically addicted. It is more of a concern in detox than cocaine.

I guess my point is that rehab and AA and NA are full of people that no one should be around. Taking up a hobby and changing your way of life sounds dumb but will work in the end.

Enough said from me, I guess.
