That is bizarre. That website looks (and sounds) like a hoax....
The second story on the Raw Story page, "AP ENTERPRISE: Questions emerge about company promising to bring inmates to small Montana town," is very creepy.

i agree, the website is crazy and VERY creepy. To name a few of their services, they claim to provide international airline security, and to sell weapons of mass destruction (internationally only).

So, this " security company", APF, has been secretly scoping out the small town of Hardin, MT for months and arbitrarily decides to begin identifying themselves as part of the "police department" when there is no town police dept.
They refuse to name their parent company, they have false corporate addresses on their website and along with all the high level security they claim to provide, they also claim to sell nuclear/biological/chemical WMD.
Add to this, the fact that Hardin has a large empty prison that they wanted to fill with prisoners from Gitmo!
I don't usually feed into conspiracy theories, but this is seriously frightening. WHY isn't this story being reported on nationally?

Because the new guy appointed by the NY Times to monitor Internet stories is probably too busy catching up with all of the other stories they haven't reported on.

This sounds like a scam by a couple of not-too-organized guys from lawless places perpetrated against some very poor and desparate people.
Not a national security threat.

Whatever it is, is bizarre, and should be given more attention regardless of whether it's just a scam or a threat to our security.

The site is not advertising for the sale of WMD's. It's for equipment to deal with WMD attack and response to attack by same. No private company can sell nuclear, chemical or biological weapons or delivery systems in such a manner. They are advertising fo a lot of small arms and combat gear. Notice they seperated AK 47's and 9mm handguns by name. . Interesting. Seems to me like a hoax, or a scam. True pros would not feel the need to seperate specific types and calibers of small arms in such a way IMHO. Any 'customer' that is gooing to order weapons will specify what they want, and the supplier will accomodate the request. 9mm handguns and the ubiquitous AK are not special in any way so, why would they only specify and seperate these particular weapons? Sends up a flag that just screams FAKE. Somebody is working a scam. Or trying to. There are more holes in this than a pasta strainer.
