Correct- The outsourcing of jobs is what is different now then in 1983.
Would it be fair to say In 1983 America was the only economic Superpower? That is not even close to the case right now.

Just like all of obama's failed promises? Really, the guy was full of crap too.

People, the president is not running the whole show. He's the pretty face... the salesman for elite who mainpulate the game for their own profit. It doesn't matter who the president is, the outcome will be the same until the washington-corporation elite super retard club is gone.

All you need to do is look at the policies of 0bama that McCain is voting against and lobbying against. McCain would not own GM, nor hold controlling interest in CitiGroup and AIG, nor would he have signed the stimulus bill or the omnibus spending bill with 9,427 pork barrel items. And McCain would definitely have spoken personally with Gen. McCrystal instead of jetting off to lobby for the Chicago Olympics.

Basing it off more lies I see... Last 5 polls, average approval 53.2%, average disapproval 37.4%, net approval 15.8%

Neither qualifying for nor receiving or not receiving unemployment benefits has anything at all to do with the unemployment numbers.

Anyone who is not working, is available to work, and has made any effort at all to look for work within the past four weeks is included as unemployed. Those who are laid off and expecting to be recalled do not have to meet the looking for work test. They are automatically counted as unemployed.

Who gives a crap how "popular" Obama is with people? Does this somehow offset his dismal performance thus far? Eventually the Obama novelty is going to wear off and people are going to finally realize just how bad of shape we are in right now.

He went from a high around 70% to approx 50% in 8 months. "Unprecedented", is the word.

That average has changed a bit and will continue to go down on this jobs report, I reckon.

No, that was made up by right-wing reality counterfeiters. Obama asserted that we were confronting double-digit unemployment and that a serious stimulus packge was necessary if we were going to head off the worst of what was coming.
