Done to death, but I have a question. Seeing how we are defunding Acorn, should we stop bids with companies that have similar scandals? We see Armor Group involved in a prostitution ring.

Keep in mind I do not condone the actions of Acorn. In fact, I find it deplorable that community activist would act in such a manner. Yet, I do feel consistency is needed. Thus, if we defund Acorn on ethics, we should go after other groups and companies that have had considerable ethical problems in the past that receive public funds.

Should Acorn set a precedent that would impact right wing companies and group as well?

Anyone else? What would you do? Should we pull out of the entire defense industry due to numerous scandals? Should we continue to give contracts to Lockhead Martin, despite 11 fraud cases against it?

It seems interesting that the right does not want to go after defense and other traditionally allied companies and organizations. Is that fair?

Defund anyone who is breaking the law period, no matter of affiliation.

Although, make sure it's the organization or leadership and not just one person doing bad stuff.

I'd like to defund everyone and start from scratch, and be really hard nosed about where the money goes.

That's a good response. Defund any organization that breaks the law or is reckless with the public's money and trust. I guess that would include Congress though.
