Boycott them? H*LL YES!
Actors and actresses have just as much right to express their views as anyone else.

That said, I really wish celebrities of ALL political views would not use their fame to push political views- Republican, Democrat, whatever they are. It isn't that their opinions aren't valid, or that their right to free speech should be suppressed, but I do not think it is fair for them to do so.. it encourages people to play follow the leader instead of making their own opinions about politics/social issues.
Well if it isn't right for Hollywood celebs then it isn't right for political and media celebs either. The News media should only report the news, not give opinions trying to sway the public.

I've boycotted Hollywood for years. Their political musings are jokes to most of us but what I resent is most of them seem to be a bunch of drug-sucking fools who have no morals. Been that way a long time. Not getting any better.

We only go to about 4-6 movies a year, whereas 20 years ago we were going once a week. Most movies suck these days.

Further, the late Jack Valenti, Hollywood's lobbyist in DC for decades, successfully lobbied and won tax exemptions and accounting rules which generally assure no studio ever pays any taxes, no matter how much money a movie takes in.

Don't even get me started on Disney, the greediest bunch of people in the business.

What's wrong with pushing one's agenda with whatever leverage one has, so long as it's legal?

You don't have to like it, and you don't have to listen to it. You can also push your own agenda in whatever way you can muster that is legal.

It's not that big of a deal, people.

Good point, that is what we do here. We all discuss and push our personal ways of thinking, acting and reacting.

Giving an respectful opinion is one thing, but too many celebrities feel their fame gives them the right to belittle those who have different opinions. I have a long, growing list of celebrities I will no longer support because they've revealed a disdain for people who don't agree with them on political and social issues. I refuse to pad the wallets of people who dislike or possibly hate me based on my beliefs.
