I lived outside of this country a great part of my life and wanted to kiss the ground with joy every time I came back to America.

I don't care which political party is in office, this is one hell of a special country. Why do you think so many people, legal or illegal, try to get in every year?

Stay where you are a couple years, then post again. You'll change your tune.

What do you mean?

Things are different now. Just in the past 3 years the USA has taken a major nosedive.

I've lived overseas before too. I'm not some newjack to this.

Oh, it is very much to the point, particularly the credibility of your argument.

Credibility of my arguement?

I wasn't even making any arguement. Unless my arguement is "The USA is doing down the tubes and there are better places to live these days".

Try these. Japan, Korea, China.....

Waiting for someone to claim they are severely oppressed in this country because people won't let them smoke weed, watch porn or cheat on their wife.....

You could have it worse almost anyplace else people. Stop being so dramatic and hyperbolic

When you boil a live frog slowly, it'll just sit in the water and burn to death. Never realizing anything is wrong.

Singapore would be my guess. The least corrupt and most economically free country on earth.

Sounds pretty disgusting to me

Sorry your life was so horrible here in America. Mine is pretty good here and I know it would not be better elsewhere

Good for you.

There are fortunate and wealthy people in every country.

That doesn't change the fact that for the majority of people in the USA, things are getting much, much worse.

But as long as you are doing well, that's all that matters right?

"Give the fools their weed and porn. That outta shut them up."

I guess weed and porn equals freedom these days.
