RALEIGH, N.C. — Convicted sex offender James Nichols said he was trying to better himself by going to church. But the police who arrested him explained: The church is off-limits because it has a daycare center.

Now Nichols is challenging North Carolina's sex-offender laws in a case that pits the constitutional right to religious freedom against the state's goal of protecting the public from child molesters.

No sex offender should have a second chance!
Sexually offenders should be put away for life!
I ever get a hold of one, it would be there worst nightmare!

A new study says that 1/3 of all sex offenders were convicted as a juvenile. They were mostly girl friend and boyfriend, known as Romeo and Juliet type.

Kids do what kids have been doing since Adam and Eve, but now we criminalize them and banish them to the outskirts of our towns and ruin their lives forever.

You cannot tell by looking on the registry who did what.

I think the registry should go back into the hands of law enforcement.
